The Walker Wedding – The Apostolic Lighthouse Church
Nate and Caitlin are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met! I mean, seriously!
They chose to get married in the church Nate grew up in, surrounded by some of their closest family and friends.
I remember meeting with Caitlin before the wedding to go over the timeline one more time, and her saying she was really hoping for snow on the big day. Well, mother nature didn’t disappoint. We did get snow the night before, and it was BEAUTIFUL. Then the morning of, it started to mist. The snow turned super slushy. On top of that, as Caitlin was getting into her dress the zipper came apart. Thank goodness a family member was able to repair the zipper (and my amazing second shooter’s mother-in-law reinforced it by sewing her in)! None of it seemed to bother Nate or Caitlin one bit. You could tell they were just happy getting to marry each other.
Though the two didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, Caitlin did want to do a first look with her father. Rickey’s reaction to seeing his baby girl in her wedding dress was so sweet! I was wiping tears from my face as I was shooting because of all the emotion.
Nate and Caitlin, thank you for trust me to capture your wedding! I hope when you look back at these photos, they help you to relive the emotions you experienced on your special day.
