Dining Room Inspiration – Marlowe Meadows
About a month or two ago we decided to sell our big hightop dining room table because it was just way to big for our space. Shortly after getting rid of it, a friend of ours traded us a small round dining room table and chairs for some of our barn wood. The table fits perfectly in our space and works wonderfully for our family of four! (I have big plans to refinish it with chalk paint and wax.)
The thing is, my dining room is still not finished. We have some drywall repair to complete, painting to finish, and of course some decorating to do.
This gorgeous space belongs to the wonderful Laura at @threesonsfarmhouse! She is beyond talented when it comes to home decor. I mean look at that all those beautiful wood tones and shiplap.
I love the chippy buffet and floating shelves that Priscilla with @pinkribboncottage has in her dining space. I just may have to add some floating shelves to my DIY to do list.
I NEED a rug for my dining room, but I just haven’t decided on a rectangular or circular one yet. I’ve seen it both ways when using a round table and I feel either way it’ll look good. What would you guys suggest?
I’m loving the gray and cream patterned rug that Lisa has in this space for sure!
Loren’s dining room just looks so peaceful. The colors she chose are super calming with an added pop to keep it interesting. I especially LOVE the blue door.
Liz Marie’s gorgeous antique windows definitely give me all the feels. That, and those gorgeous high back chairs are A-MAZING!
