I’ve know Katie for several years now, and I’d have to say she is one of the most genuine, caring, happy people I know. If it is even possible, when she met Pete she became even more so. These two are truly perfect for each other and I’m so happy that I had the chance to help document their wonderful day!   Thank you again Katie and Pete for asking me to be your videographer! It was an absolute blast!   Church: The Apostolic Lighthouse of Dowagiac Reception […] Continue reading →

Big News

I know I told you guys I had some big news to break to you at the end of this month. Well… I recently took a HUGE leap of faith by quitting my 9-5 job to become a stay at home mom! My last day is April 28th. Here’s a bit of a background story as to why I made this choice: My husband and I were habitually running into scheduling complications with day care and work. I became extremely stressed out trying to be the dependable employee and the best mom possible. My daughter wasn’t […] Continue reading →

Off the beaten path at a small italian restaurant family and friends gathered to celebrate the union of Daryl and Estella. Their taste in venue was exquisite, their laughter was contagious, and their dancing skills were fabulous! I had a blast photographing this couples nuptials, and wish nothing but a marriage filled with love that lasts the ages. […] Continue reading →

Over a year ago I helped photograph Andrea and Adam’s wedding. Being part of their big day was fantastic, and getting to know them was even better. Even from afar you can tell their little family if filled with tons of love and joy. Though they had to bribe the kids with fudge pops to smile during pictures, I felt as though they had a bunch of fun exploring the farm!   […] Continue reading →

Marcie has been one of my best friends since 7th grade. We’ve shown horses together over the years, graduated high school together, and she even celebrated my wedding with me by being my maid of honor. We went out riding today, and I asked her if she would model for me afterwards. She obliged, and these are the results. I feel they came out wonderful even though Paul is not a very photogenic equine specimen. […] Continue reading →

This young man is my little cousin Chandler. He went from a goofy looking kid that I used to babysit, to a handsome gentleman that will soon be going off to college. I am super proud to call him my family, and wish him all the luck with this new step in his life! Chan, you’re awesome dude! […] Continue reading →

Here’s a sneak peak of the IBRA show I photographed on January 19th. It was cold, but there were some good runs that gave me chills despite the temperature. If anyone wants to see more of the photographs I took during the show, here’s the link. http://ybbilphotography.com/ibra-show-1192013/ […] Continue reading →

I recently photographed a young man that absolutely loves to play football and hunt. For his senior photos he didn’t want the typical posed shots; sitting in a chair with his suit and tie on.He wanted to feature his skills and accomplishments, and pretty much let me have free rein taking photos. I just love it when clients let me experiment with new ideas! Here’s a few photos from his senior photo shoot. I hope you like them! […] Continue reading →
