Fun in the Mud

Not too long before Brent and I got married, we invested in two 4-wheelers. Both we bought from good friends for GREAT deals. Of course both needed a bit of work, but it is a lovely thing when your husband knows how to tear things apart and put them back together (the right way) after replacing a few parts. Most weekends you can either find us covered in mud from riding the quads, or dressed to the nines after shooting a wedding. This weekend will be full of fun, dazzling pictures, and a […] Continue reading →

The Betzner’s may not be blood, but they are family. These three are hilarious, hard working, and extreme lovers of God. Taking their photos was a blast, as is every time I have the pleasure of being in their company. Congratulations you three on your graduating this year!!! […] Continue reading →

This young man is my little cousin Chandler. He went from a goofy looking kid that I used to babysit, to a handsome gentleman that will soon be going off to college. I am super proud to call him my family, and wish him all the luck with this new step in his life! Chan, you’re awesome dude! […] Continue reading →

This handsome man happens to be my amazing boyfriend. I recently acquired some new photography equipment, and I needed a test subject. I love the fact that he is always willing to pose for me to get that perfect shot. He’s such a ham!   […] Continue reading →

I recently photographed an aspiring model named Sierra. She was a blast to work with! Not only was the conversation fun, but she was game for anything I asked her to do (which included trudging through a thicket of thorns and climbing a fallen tree in high healed boots). She has a promising future ahead of her!!! […] Continue reading →

Here’s a sneak peak of the IBRA show I photographed on January 19th. It was cold, but there were some good runs that gave me chills despite the temperature. If anyone wants to see more of the photographs I took during the show, here’s the link. […] Continue reading →

I recently photographed a young man that absolutely loves to play football and hunt. For his senior photos he didn’t want the typical posed shots; sitting in a chair with his suit and tie on.He wanted to feature his skills and accomplishments, and pretty much let me have free rein taking photos. I just love it when clients let me experiment with new ideas! Here’s a few photos from his senior photo shoot. I hope you like them! […] Continue reading →

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful young lady named Alyssa and her horse , Jet, for her senior photos. Miss Alyssa was such fun to work with! Anything I suggested she was overly willing to try. Jet on the other hand, was more interested in eating. The two hour shoot felt like it flew by, and I walked away with some amazing shots. Here’s a few to give you a taste of what magic was made that evening. […] Continue reading →

Sister Lakes Community Church VBS ’12

June 18th, 19th, and 20th I participated in running my church’s annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) for kids 1st through 6th grade. Our theme this year was self control. We had the kids memorize quite a few bible verses, learn some Karate moves, and make some pretty cool crafts. Our focal verse was Colossians 3:23-24 23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord […] Continue reading →
